For the next five days I will be away from internet, electricity, traffic and hot running water. My wife and I are taking a long overdue camping trip and it can’t come soon enough.

We’ll be walking, swimming and surfing. But there’s also going to be plenty of time to sit still. To read my books and snooze in the sun and eat cake. And in the evenings we will snuggle in our tent, warmed by the hissing light of our ancient (and slightly hazardous) gas lamp.

The attached photo is a shot of the beach beside the camp site. I’ll write all about it in a few days if I can bring myself to come home!
